High speed Dutch fence
-
The core advantage of this type of guardrail comes from its wavy woven structure:
Excellent impact resistance and cushioning performance: The continuous wavy structure gives the guardrail mesh excellent elasticity. When impacted by vehicles or objects, the mesh can undergo extensive elastic deformation, like a "safety net", effectively absorbing impact energy, reducing impact force, minimizing damage to the vehicle and guardrail itself, and guiding out of control vehicles to return to the correct direction to a large extent. -
Extremely high integrity and durability:
The entire mesh surface is continuously woven from one or a group of high-strength steel wires, without welding or splicing points. This makes its structural integrity extremely strong, and local forces can be quickly dispersed throughout the entire mesh, avoiding the overall failure of traditional welded mesh caused by node fracture. Its tensile strength and shear resistance are very outstanding. -
Excellent adaptability and durability:
The sturdy and flexible structure enables it to adapt well to ground undulations and uneven installation foundations. The surface is usually hot-dip galvanized or treated with PVC/PE coating after galvanizing, providing excellent rust and weather resistance, long service life, and almost no maintenance required.
Good transparency and visibility: The grid design ensures good visual transparency, does not cause serious visual obstruction to the driver or surrounding environment, and also has a certain anti glare effect (depending on the grid density).
Installation is relatively simple and economical: usually supported by columns and secured by tension, making installation and adjustment more flexible. -
Application
Closed isolation nets on both sides of highways: as a permanent barrier to prevent people and animals from entering and vehicles from crossing, especially suitable for terrain undulating sections.
Anti throwing nets for bridges and overpasses: installed on the side of the bridge to prevent debris from falling.
Isolation and protection of service areas, toll stations, interchange areas, and other areas.
A part of the flexible protective net system for highway slopes, used to prevent rockfall.
Some road sections with less stringent anti glare requirements can be used as facilities that balance isolation and a certain degree of anti glare.
Material: High quality high carbon steel wire or low-carbon steel wire.
Steel wire diameter: The common range is between 2.5 millimeters and 5.0 millimeters, and the core wire diameter may be thicker.
Grid shape: A typical diamond or rectangular grid formed by interweaving wavy latitude and longitude lines (or bidirectional wavy lines).
Mesh size: According to protection requirements, common sizes include 50mm x 50mm, 75mm x 75mm, 50mm x 100mm, etc.
Surface Treatment
Basic type: hot-dip galvanized, with a zinc coating adhesion of not less than 230 grams per square meter according to standards such as ASTM and ISO.
Enhanced type: hot-dip galvanized+PVC/PE coated, with a plastic layer thickness generally between 0.5mm and 1.0mm, and colors available (commonly dark green, grass green, gray).
Installation components: including H-shaped steel columns, concrete columns, or steel pipe columns, as well as specialized tensioning bolts, fixing buckles, and other connectors.
