Ergonomic safety design
Strictly follow national standards to ensure key safety parameters:
Continuous handrail: The handrail at the staircase and platform is continuous and uninterrupted, with a horizontal extension of ≥ 300mm at the starting and ending ends.
Suitable height: Adult armrest height of 900mm, children's auxiliary armrest height of 600-700mm, meeting the needs of different users.
Anti climbing structure: Vertical poles or grilles adopt anti climbing design to prevent children from climbing over.
Anti slip grip: The armrest cross-section conforms to the curve of human grip, providing a stable and comfortable grip. -
Structural stability and load safety
Multiple anchoring system: The columns are fixed to the ground and steps using chemical anchor bolts or through bolts, with a pull-out resistance of ≥ 3kN.
Lateral impact resistance: The guardrail system can withstand a concentrated load of 1.5kN/m in the horizontal direction without permanent deformation.
Seismic considerations: Key connection points are equipped with elastic gaskets or flexible connections to accommodate small deformations in the building -
Visual transparency and spatial integration
Material dialogue: The material and color of the guardrail create a harmonious contrast or echo with the steps and walls, enhancing the overall integrity of the space.
Light and shadow interaction: Creating rich light and shadow effects through hollow patterns or glass refraction, enhancing the fun of the space. -
Durability throughout the entire lifecycle
Wear resistant and stain resistant: The armrest surface is coated with high hardness or solid wood thick paint to resist long-term friction and stains.
Easy to maintain design: modular components facilitate local replacement, connection points are concealed and not prone to dust accumulation.
Suitable for the elderly and young: rounded corners, no sharp protrusions, ensuring safe use for all age groups. -
Public buildings:
Shopping malls, airports, and stations: Structures need to be strengthened in densely populated areas, handrails need to be wear-resistant, and integrated with guiding signs.
Hospitals and nursing homes: Both sides of handrails must be installed, with adjustable height, and the grip area must be antibacterial and easy to clean.
Schools and kindergartens: Vertical pole spacing ≤ 90mm, all corners smooth to avoid hooking risks. -
Residential space:
Villas and duplex residences: customizable artistic design, becoming the visual focus of the space.
Apartment staircase: emphasizing space saving and transparency, often using glass or thin metal.
Renovation of old residential areas: providing reinforcement solutions and aging friendly installation services. -
Commercial and cultural spaces:
Hotels and boutique stores: Emphasize design and high-end materials, highly consistent with interior style.
Museums and galleries: Guardrails need to be "invisible" or become art installations that do not interfere with the viewing of exhibits.
Office space: modern minimalist style, can integrate cable channels or lighting functions. -
Outdoor and special environments:
Landscape staircase: made of outdoor materials such as weather resistant steel and anti-corrosion wood, suitable for sun and rain exposure.
Industrial style space: rough aesthetic expressions such as exposed structures and rivet connections.
Barrier free access: strictly following barrier free design specifications, continuous handrails, tactile signage.
Emergency and safety critical areas:
Fire stairs: must meet the fire resistance time limit requirements and use non combustible materials.
High altitude viewing platform: wind resistant design, height ≥ 1100mm, enhanced psychological safety.
Core Material Options:
Metals: 304 stainless steel (wall thickness ≥ 1.5mm), 6063-T5 aluminum alloy, hot-dip galvanized steel
Glass category: 12mm tempered laminated glass, 8+8mm wired glass
Wood type: Hardwood (oak, teak, etc.) handrails with a moisture content of 8-12%
Composite category: Steel wood composite, glass and metal composite
Key structural parameters:
Armrest height: 900mm for public buildings and 850-900mm for residential buildings; Children’s auxiliary armrest 600mm
Column spacing: ≤ 1100mm (ensuring stability of each span of glass or railing)
Vertical gap: ≤ 110mm (to prevent children’s heads from getting stuck)
Armrest diameter: 35-50mm (circular) or 40 × 60mm (elliptical)
Surface treatment requirements:
Metal: brushed/mirror polished, fluorocarbon coating (film thickness ≥ 40 μ m), powder coating
Wood: Environmentally friendly water-based paint, wood wax oil treatment, weather resistant and crack resistant
Glass: Edge precision grinding, anti fingerprint coating
